Koupepia: A very popular traditional dish in local cuisine, known as dolmades. It is an important delicacy at festive wedding tables, celebrations, and even as an everyday dish. It is prepared in three ways: with cabbage leaves, vine leaves, or zucchini flowers.
The filling consists of pork mince or mixed mince (pork and beef). If we are talking about koupepia with vine leaves, the vine leaves were picked in season, dried on a string, and used all year round. Koupepia are cooked in a pot. This dish is considered one of the traditional dishes served at local weddings.
